Groups are life changers.

Being in a group gives participants a chance to re-do their way of interacting with people.

Most of us relate to other people as we related to the people in our family of origin. That’s not always the best way to relate. Being in a group gives you the opportunity to learn new ways of being together with other people in real life/in real time.

You get to become a clear, confident and self-affirming communicator!

Befriending Yourself: An Elders Support Group

Zoom on Thursday 10:30AM - 12PM

Befriending Yourself is a warm, spirited and safe group for people in their sixties, seventies and eighties to talk and share. As elders, we face so much isolation, loss and loneliness. Here, among new friends, you have a place to talk and laugh with others, to feel connected and to share some of your personal truths. The group members enjoy each other. They listen thoughtfully to one another, ask good questions, express empathy and sometimes offer ideas about how to handle a situation differently. Being together, talking together gives everyone a feeling of connection and friendship.
