Hi, I’m Claudia. I have worked as a therapist for over 20 years and firmly believe in the power and possibility of transformation.

With extensive training as a therapist, including my work at the Council for Relationships, I bring a finely honed ability to listen deeply, intuit underlying patterns, contextualize experiences, and reframe perspectives. My expertise in countering negative thought patterns, understanding attachment issues, and navigating family-of-origin dynamics allows me to guide clients toward a profound reorientation of self. Through our work, understanding one’s emotions develops and they become a useful guide, helping with communication, creating healthy boundaries and developing empathy. Challenging life experiences are transformed into a renewed sense of connection to your inner truth.

Through our work together, clients gain greater clarity, self-awareness, and a significantly enhanced sense of confidence and well-being. They are able to navigate relational issues with greater ease and resilience.

We will focus on communication skills, understanding how emotions are a guide for one’s life and learning to set clear limits with healthy boundaries.

If you need support with relationships, feel unsure of the next steps for your life, need help nurturing your children, or are plagued by self-doubt and inner criticism, I can help.

Individuals will gain greater clarity, cultivate more fulfilling relationships, and develop a renewed perspective on how to move forward with confidence and purpose.

Participating in group therapy is another strong way to grow. Interacting with other people brings a sense of warm connection, knowledge that you aren’t alone with your feelings of fear or anxiety or loneliness and an opportunity to understand one’s behavior interpersonally. Being in a group brings about positive social and personal change.

Families will benefit from deeper insight into their children’s development and emotional expression, fostering greater understanding, patience, and connection. With this knowledge, parents can create a more harmonious and supportive family dynamic, leading to more joy, resilience, and meaningful relationships.

“It’s so valuable to be in a group versus one-on-one therapy. I learned so much from watching how S. related to other people in the group.”

“It’s meant so much to me over the past four years. I am now able to talk with other people about things that are bothering me. In the past I always kept my thoughts to myself.”

“Being in this group helped me to feel less isolated.”

“This supervision group gives me different and more clinical feedback about my clients than I receive from work. I can talk here about their whole bio-psycho-social situation.”

“I like the diversity of perspectives and responses I get about my cases from the different people in this group.”
